Designers We Love: Biff Barton
Did you know? Judy’s Custom Workroom is an ASID Industry Partner and we love to work with the trade!
We work with many interior designers including Biff Barton. BW Design is Biff’s award winning firm based in Wilmington, Delaware. Biff caters to clients from coast to coast. When Biff finds himself in Southern California, he trusts JCW as his workroom. Biff works on both residential and commercial projects and we have be thrilled to produce his window treatments and custom furniture for his west coast clients. He is lovely to work with.

In addition to the interior fabric and trim collection, Lilly Pulitzer clothing and jewelry were also shown off in our showroom.

MISSONI-Inspired
Missoni has been at the forefront of fashion since founders Tai and Rosita started producing their signature crocheted knits in 1953. Now under the creative leadership of the couple’s daughter Angela, the label continues to deliver exquisite collections with inimitable Italian flair. Missoni  is known for its multitude of patterns such as stripes, geometrics, and abstract florals, in a kaleidoscope of colors.
Missoni has received massive media attention this fall especially with the designer fashion line hitting Target.  We have all heard of the sold out stores with empty shelves and people raving over the fun clothes and accessories. But why stop there? Bring some Missoni into your home.
Here are some Missoni-inspired fabrics we found browsing through Judy’s Custom Workroom’s fabric library. Zig zags, geometric patterns and touches of tribal… enjoy!

Orange Coast Interior Design
Wonder what is going on at Orange Coast Interior Design & Judy’s Custom Workroom lately?
This week we are in the early stages of designing 3 clients’ homes-selecting fabrics and materials, producing renderings, and conceptual images…
Below are selections for a contemporary great room. The colors are dark brown, ivory, and turquoise with an accent of orange and silver. The wallcovering we want to use is a chocolate crocodile faux leather. We think the vaulted ceiling would be awesome if painted metallic silver!
Below are some possible accent and drapery fabric.
We plan on making most of the furniture illustrated below here at Judy’s Custom Workroom.
We would love to make 4 contemporary wingback chairs in a turquoise velvet with textured ivory leather backs and silver nailheads.
Here are some materials we have put together for another client’s a dining room/living room and family room/nook
Our client is debating adding some blue into the space. This Harlequin stripe fabric is perfect!
The wallcoverings we have selected are also Harlequin.
Below are fabrics, materials and inspiration photos for a whole home remodel. We love this gray and yellow color scheme!
The design is transitional- we are creating and selecting traditional furniture pieces and furnishings, but in contemporary colors and finishes.
Many of the fabrics are from Duralee’s Suburban Home and Designer Eileen Kathryn Boyd.
This home is currently in demolition and we are so excited to get started!!!
